Here are my recommendations for best places to eat:
Djannies - without doubt the best in SB. Large beer only 1lev excellent food and service. Can get very busy at peak times - so you may need to wait for a table. You will notice that even the Bulgarians eat here. It is near the resort centre down the road to the market stalls etc opposite the Kuban Hotel about 100m down road on left hand side.
Hotel Aktinia - I was surprised by this one food was lovely and reasonably priced. Bottle of wine on 12 lev. Waitresses very friendly. Very near Grenada about 200m towards Sunny Beach on right hand side.
Memory - A little haven for excellent food and service. Unbelievably cheap and great fish/BBQ etc. Separate kids menu. All dishes include a hot or cold garnish. It is only 50m from Grenada. Tun right at Noble Hotel and it is on the right.
Karolina - A wide selection of food and the prices are reasonable. Right next door so you can't miss it.
Mexican - not to everyones taste this one - and not really mexican food as we know it - but I liked this. Includes some traditional bulgarian dishes (including a good one for vegetarians). Prices keen and friendly waiter. Just past Hotel Aktinia and turn right down alleyway and its on the left.
Old Nessebar - can't remember the names but there are two restaurants side by side. Just as you walk through the walled area turn left down the fist alleyway. For Nessebar the prices were OK and food was nice.
Old Nessebar - ONE TO AVOID - went to one restaurant on the pier before walled area. You turn right into a car park and it's on the right at the end of the pier - think it begins with F. A complete rip off - which I don't mind if the food was special - but it wasn't - so stay away!!!
Cheers/Nazdrave!!
