Hi All

I have found this company called Penguin Travel based in Sofia - great for car hire. Visit www.bulgariacarrent.com to book. You can get a new small Clio style car with aircon for 24 euro a day peak season. They also have an option for an 'unspecified car' for 19 euro peak season - basically means you could get an older Golf, Civic or Mondeo and it may not have aircon.

I've used them and found them to be great.
